The Silk Show Town in Suzhou New District was listed among the top 50 national characteristic towns in 2021.
Located in Zhenhu sub-district, the western ecological tourist resort of Suzhou city, the Silk Show Town is keenly focused on turning itself into a cultural incubator integrating culture, exhibition, research, and tourism.
The China Embroidery Art Museum in the town has been opened to public since 2018 and showcases embroidery history, famous embroiderers, craftsmanship and boutiques.
Reopened in December 2020, the embroidery street is now a pedestrian street that has been listed among the "national standardized markets for intellectual property protection" and "national characteristic commercial streets" in the country. The street has formed a Suzhou embroidery industry chain covering design, copyright, production, trading, and talents.

A cultural and creative flagship store called New Collection was officially opened in 2020, offering an immersive offline experience to visitors. The store is a retail complex format that integrates cultural and creative products, Su embroidery, agricultural products, exhibition function, bookstores, coffee, and aesthetics daily necessities.
New Collection and the Naked Group have joined forces to build an experience center that integrates catering, coffee, reading, children's entertainment, hand-made, and shopping. The construction of the center is expected to be completed in October this year.
The Silk Show Town has also established a digital base for Su embroidery to provide Su embroidery practitioners with services related to shared office, talent exchange, technology sharing, and market expansion.
